Always a classic I order every week! It only comes with 2 pickle slices and I wish it had 3-4 slices. The buns also don’t microwave well so I usually take off the pickles, put the chicken and cheese slice in a bowl to microwave, toast the buns in the toaster, and then reassemble. Adding fresh red onions, lettuce, tomato, and sugar free BBQ sauce are how I typically elevate this as well.
I thought I was eating a “Pappas Barbecue Chicken Sandwich” FOR REAL!!!! No skipping on the flavor, the meat and its just enough sauce for the sandwich and the BREAD is amazing
Love this bbq chicken. I usually remove the cheese and add more pickles. I find it best to heat up the chicken separately from the bun, and cook those in the toaster.
Every meal we have tried has been very good, the volume is great, the store people excellent, the price is very reasonable so glad we found this company
I was surprised by this one - it was SO good! I added avocado and some more pickles on mine at home and I toasted the bread separately at one of the staff members recommendations and it was delicious!
My Fit Foods has really helped me achieve more balanced eating. I needed to make some eating habit changes that included lowering my blood sugar. I have been able to do that. Thanks My FIT Foods!
MyFitFoods has always been there for me on my healthy habits journey. Portion control is hard to manage, especially in TX, and I love that the meals are portioned out (and delicious), and it's one less thing I have to worry about when trying to eat better
This was delicious. I do wish the sandwich came unbuilt. The bottom bun was a bit soggy and the top bun was really tough after microwaving. And while I love pickles, I know many who wouldn’t eat it due to pickles. One fantastic thing about this meal is I did not get heartburn/indigestion, which I do anytime I eat barbecue anything.
The flavor is really good and I would love to keep this in my rotation; however, serving the pickles inside the sandwich ruined it for me. The acid from the pickles made the cheese weird and inedible. The parts of the cheese the pickles touched changed the color of the cheese (pale yellow vs. orange) and the texture (melty and gooey while still cold) and was repulsive. I had to remove the cheese and replace it with my own. If the pickles came on the side, that would be a gamechanger for this sandwich because other than this, it's actually delicious.
